More Information on the Son's Name?
Most people call the Messiah by the name of ‘Jesus’ as written in the English translation of the Bible.

Jesus is a hellenized Latin / Greco name which was "supposedly" a transliteration of the Messiah's Hebrew name YaHushua (Yehoshua) but it was not transliterated from the main source Hebrew, but from another polluted language; Greek.
If you would do your research on this one, you will find out that in the First edition of the King James Bible in 1611, the Messiah's name was not Jesus. You will find it was "Iesous"!
The letter J was the last letter added to the English alphabet, and it is less than 500 years old!
This points us to the fact that He was never called Jesus when He walked the earth! His name was a Hebrew name and should be left in the Hebrew tongue!

Jesus was originally written as "Je'sus i.e  Je and a suffix "sus.
Je'sus was derived from the Greek Ieosus.  It is a well known fact that the Greeks worshipped the sun god Zeus, who in Greek Mythology is the "father of gods and men." Zeus is one and the same as Jupiter in Roman Mythology which means "godfather” and is a pagan deity!
The dictionary of Christian Lore  and legend by Prof J C J Metford states:
'It is known that the Greek endings 'sus', 'seus', 'sous', were attached by the Greeks to names and geographical areas as means to give honour to their supreme deity Zeus. In Greek  tradition they add ‘sus’ on the end of a name to show it is masculine.  The 'sus' on the end means ‘from / born of Zeus’. For example : Ephesus means daughter of Zeus.  Tarsus mans sweat of Zeus.
You may also remember that when Paul and Barnabas travelled to Lystra and healed a lame man, they started to call Barnabas Zeus (Jupiter) and Paul Hermes (Mercurius), thinking their gods had come down in human form.
Also if you check out the meaning of "sus" in Latin, you will be shocked at what pops up into your face! The Pig!! This is the name you have been calling your Messiah which is a blasphemous name!
If you go to the Hebrew meaning of ‘sus’ it means horse!
None of these meanings describe the person or character of the Son of the Most High.
In Matthew 1 v 21 the Messenger (angel) Gabriel told Joseph (who was an Israelite and spoke Hebrew):
'She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the Name ---------, because He will save His people from their sins.'
Was that Name? The Greek name 'Ieosus' honouring the Greek god Zeus?
Was that Name 'Jesus' honouring the greek god Zeus? (couldn't be because the letter J didn't exist yet!)
Was the Name the Latin Name 'Je,sus' honouring the pig?
Or was that Name the Hebrew Name 'Yahushua' meaning Yahuwah (His Father's Name meaning I AM He who exists) saves /delivers or Yahuwah is salvation.
His Name clearly depicts what Gabriel said He would do - SAVE His people from their sins.
You may have been told that it doesn’t really matter which name you use. This erroneous teaching has amounted to many blasphemous names! In Latin ‘Jesus’ has also been rendered as Iove or Jove, when pronounced would be Yahweh or Jehovah ! These are other false names we are told to call upon by religious leaders, who are the blind leading the blind!
Isaiah states that a lot of tradition and man-made rules have been put in place in the church and they are not always what YaHuWaH teaches.
Isaiah 29 v 13
“And so YaHuWaH says, “These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And their worship of me is nothing but man-made rules learned by rote.”
Revelation also prophesies about blasphemous names.
 Revelation 17:3
"So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns."

The Apostle Shaul, (Paul) was the apostle who preached the good news to the Gentiles, i.e the Western World and other nations. He preached the good news taught by the Messiah who was a Jew from the tribe of Judah of Ancient Israel. He lived in Israel.  The apostle Paul and the early believers were also Jews from Israel.
When Sh'aul was on the road to Damascus he saw a bright light and heard a voice from heaven. Acts 26 says this:
Acts 26 v 14-15
'And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me, and saying, in the Hebrew language, "Paul, Paul, why do you persecute Me? It is hard for you to kick against the prods."'And I said, "Who are you, Master?" And He said, "I am Yahushua, whom you persecute.'

Please notice that the language the Messiah spoke and Paul heard was in the HEBREW language. The Mashiach spoke His name in Hebrew not the Greek form.
The Western World heard the good news preached by Sh'aul using the Hebrew name of the Son, Yahushua not any Greek or Latin form.  Over time the Roman Empire decided to distance themselves from Judaism and began to rebrand certain names and customs according to their own local deities, (mainly greek gods) and they forced their people to embrace the new found faith based on their own gods. i.e. Zeus / Jupiter their sun god. Many of these customs have been mixed into church customs today. (see tradition or truth)

We are instructed in Exodus:

Exodus 23 v 13
“Pay attention to all that I have said to you, and make no mention of the names of other gods, nor let it be heard on your lips.'

The true name of the Son of the Most High is written in Modern Hebrew as יהושועYod, Hay, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin ) reading from right to left.
The true name of our Saviour taken from the Hebrew scriptures is:
                    Not Jesus.
It is pronounced ; Yahushua (yah- hoo-shua) ( it can also be spelled Yahuwshua).
The Son’s Name means: Yahuwah is Salvation or Yahuwah saves / delivers.
The name was also written in its shortened form of Yod, Shin, Waw, Ayin which spells Y'shua.
Many will argue that there is no proof that the Son's name is Yahushua as we do not have any Hebrew New Testament manuscripts.  Actually we do!
Below is a picture of the Aramaic Hebrew manuscript of Matthew from the Bristish Museum. It contains Hebrew Matthew 1:18-25 as preserved by Jewish scribes down through the Middle Ages.It is the story of the naming of Yahushua as told in Matthew 1:18-25. The original shortened form of the Son's Hebrew name, "Y'shua", is easily identifiable on the picture even for those not familiar with old Hebrew writing. The last word on the bottom left of the miniature image above is the name of Yahushua written in medieval Hebrew / Aramaic script. The Jewish scribe who copied Hebrew Matthew wrote the name Y'shua in large letters in recognition of its importance in the context of the story of the naming. The name Y'shua was written without vowels points as was common in most ancient manuscripts and it was written in the shortened / Aramaic form. Y'shua being the shortened form of Yahushua.
The name Jesus is nowhere to be seen!

 = Yod = Y

= Shin = SH

= Waw = U

= Ayin = A

Here is also a copy of the 1551 Hebrew version of Matthew written in Modern Hebrew

You can clearly see on the right hand page at the beginning of the second paragraph  (line 10 indented) at the end of the line (reading from right to left) the name again written as:

Yod, Shin, Waw, Ayin
Y'shua = shortened / Aramaic form of Yahushua

Can you see the Father’s name in the Son’s name?
YaHuaH        = I AM He who exists
YaHushuaH  =  Yahuwah  (I Am He who exists) saves / delivers
It is a much more meaningful name and conveys the true essence of who He is and why He came.
He is referred to as Yahushua Ha’Mashiyach (the Messiah).
Remember Yahushua the Messiah said in :
John 5:43
“I am come in my FATHER’S NAME ( Yahuwah is salvation), and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.”
Think about that for a minute! Which one has the Father’s name?
Yahushua  meaning Yahuwah saves OR Jesus originating from the names of pagan deities.
Now read these scriptures:
John 17:3
“ And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true mighty one, and Yahushua the Messiah, whom thou hast sent.”

John 3:18
“He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed IN THE NAME of the only begotten Son of YAHUWAH.”

 John 17:11
“And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Almighty Father, keep through THINE OWN NAME which thou hast GIVEN ME, that they may be one, as we are.”

John 17:26
“And I have declared unto them THY NAME, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
In Revelation it states:
Revelation 14 v 12
'Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the Commands of Yahuwah and the belief of Yahushua.'
The set-apart ones are those that will be saved.  Belief in Yahushua (not Jesus) is a requirement.  We already know that in Acts 4 it states salvation is given under NO other Name. The other requirement is, guarding  / obeying the Commands.
Which Commands?  The Ten Commandments as stated in the Torah in Exodus 20.
