Is the Name of our Father really important?

Is the Name of the Father and the Son really that important?
I have heard many people say that the Name of our Father and His Son is not really important. Many have said that it doesn't matter what we call our Father or His Son and many have said that its just a case of semantics or translation and different languages.
For me, its quite simple really. My Father has revealed His name to us and I choose to declare it and share it with people, as it has been hidden from us for so many years by scribes and translators. I happen to think it is important and will explain why. Rather than following man's labels and opinions I always go to scripture to see what the Word says. The Word is truth and perfectly clear on the subject of the Name of Yahuwah.
Scripture states clearly that we should call on His name.  Exodus 3 v 15  clearly states what His name is: Yahuwah, and that it is for all generations forever :
‘The Mighty One (God) said further to Moses, ‘Say thus to the people of Israel, YaHuWaH, the Mighty One ofyour fathers, the Mighty One of Abraham, the Mighty One of Isaac and the MightyOne of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my NAME FOREVER, this is how I am to be remembered generation after generation.’
FOREVER is forever. There is no get out clause. It doesn't say 'or until man decides differently or to translate it another way.'
Yahuwah gave us His name, and for various reasons the translators decided to remove it and replace it with 'the Lord' in our scriptures so we have not known His name.  This was prophecied in Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 8 v 8
‘How can you say,‘We are wise; YaHuWaH’s teaching is with us,’ when in fact the lying pen of the scribes has turned it into falsehood.’
 Jeremiah 23:26-27
"How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget MY NAME by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten MY NAME for Baal."  (Baal = Lord)
We have forgotten or not known His name as it has been replaced with 'Lord'.
(Baal means Lord.)
Yahuwah has many attributes to His name Yahuwah Yireh, Yahuwah Elshaddai, Abba (Father) etc.  These describe His character, but scripture states that He has only One personal name.  The Name He clearly states in Exodus 3 v 15 and also in Isaiah 42:
Isaiah 42 v 8
“I am YaHuWaH; that is My NAME; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.”
When the Israelites went into captivity in Babylon they stopped using the name Yahuwah because of persecution. Ezekiel tells us what Yahuwah thinks about profaning / not using His name:
 Ezekiel 36 v 20
‘When they (Israel) came to the nations they were going to, they profaned my Set-Apart  (holy) NAME, so that the people said of them, ‘These are Yahuwah’s people who have been exiled from Israel.  But I (Yahuwah) am concerned about my Set Apart NAME, which the house of Israel is profaning among the nations where they have gone.'
 Ezekiel 36 v 23
‘I will set apart my great NAME to be regarded as Set-Apart (holy), since it has been profaned in the nations – you profaned it among them.  The nations will know that I AM YAHUWAH.’
Malachi also clearly tells us what Yahuwah says about not listening and giving honour to His Name:
Malachi 2 v 2
“If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honour to My NAME, says YaHuWaH of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.”
Scripture also states:
1 John 2 v 12:
‘I write to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of His NAME.’
We have forgiveness on account of his Name.

Acts 4 v 12 (from Joel 2 v 32)
‘And there is NO deliverance in anyone else, for there is NO other Name under heaven by which we need to be saved.’
We have deliverance in His Name.

 InJohn 14:26 Yahushua says:

'But the Helper, the Set Apart Spirit, whom the Father will send in my Name, He willteach you ALL and remind you of all that I have said to you.'

The Set Apart Spirit is sent in His Name.

 Acts 2 v 38
'And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Yahushua Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach Ha’qodesh (Set Apart Spirit).”
We should be baptised in His Name.
 Psalm 91 v 14-16
“Because he loves me,” says Yahuwah, “I will rescue him;  I will protect him, for HE ACKNOWLEDGES MY NAME. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble,  I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
We have all the benefits as stated here in Psalm 91 including; being rescued, protection, deliverance, honor, long life, satisfaction and salvation. WHY?   Because we ACKNOWLEDGE His Name.
Nowhere in scripture does it state that we can change His name and address our Creator with any name we choose.  You wouldn't address your pastor or the Prime Minister as Mr.  Shouldn't we give even more respect to our Creator?
Yes, Yahuwah loves us and He understands that we might not have known His name, and I believe that grace is given to those who have not known, but when we do know what His wonderful name is, it really is a heart issue.  He knows our hearts and whether they really are turned towards Him.  For me, if My Father says in Scripture that His name is Yahuwah and I should honour His name then I will.

Yahushua gave honour to His Father's name.  He said:

John 17:26
“And I have declared unto them THY NAME, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.'
Yahushua (meaning Yahuwah saves / delivers) came in His Father's Name.
John 5:43
“I am come in my FATHER’S NAME ( Yahuwah is salvation), and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.”

Those who believe in His Name are not condemned.

John 3:18
“He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed IN THE NAME of the only begotten Son of YAHUWAH.”

We have life by believing in His Name.

 John 20 v 31
“But these are written so that you may believe that Yahushua, the Son of the Almighty, and that by believing you may have life in HIS NAME.”

We have strength by faith in His Name.

 Acts 3 v 16
“And HIS NAME—by faith in HIS NAME—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Yahushua has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.”

The Apostles were persecuted because they spoke in the Name of Yahushua and preached the good news ( the gospel) of Yahushua. - (repent (turn from your ways) and live as Yahuwah has taught. Its for your good! For the kingdom of Yahuwah is near. Call on the name of Yahuwah and you will be delivered on that great and dreadful day.

 Acts 5 v 40
“And when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the NAME of Yahushua, and let them go.”
Whether you choose to believe or use His name or not, Yahuwah has already declared the following and it will happen because His Word does not return void and it has been declared from the beginning. This is happening now right before our very eyes along with many other prophecies!
Jeremiah 16:21
“Therefore behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know Mine hand and My might; and they shall know that My NAME is YaHuWaH.”
 Micah 4 v 5
“For all the peoples walk each in the NAME of its god, but we will walk in the NAME of YaHuWaH our Almighty forever and ever.”

 Philippians 2 v 10
“So that, at the NAME of Yahushua every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”
 Ezekiel 36 v 23
‘I will set apart my great NAME to be regarded as set-apart (holy),since it has been profaned in the nations – you profaned it among them. The nations WILL know that I AM YAHUWAH.’
Lastly we see a wonderful picture in Revelation at the end of this age, on that great and dreadful day, when the trumpet (shofar) sounds and Yahushua returns.

What will be written on the set-apart ones foreheads?  His NAME and His Father’s NAME!
 Revelation 14 v 1
“Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had HIS NAME and HIS FATHER’S NAME written on their foreheads.”
 Revelation 22 v 4
“They will see His face, and HIS NAME will be on their foreheads.”
I hope that maybe you can see why I think Yahuwah's name is important. If you don't like or believe what you have read here, then may I suggest that you research it for yourself or speak to Yahuwah, as these are His words, written in His Word, not mine.

In the end the truth always wins and the Word is truth and stands whatever you believe. I believe the written Word and choose to go with the truth as written and spoken by My Father - the truth of His wonderful Name, which reveals so much of His character and His love for us.
I pray that as you think on these things, what is lovely and true, that Yahuwah will bless you.
